Murdoch University Indigenous Engineering Pathway Scholarship is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students seeking to access engineering study or careers via the Bachelor of Engineering Technology.

Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
  • Meet entry requirements for the Bachelor of Engineering Technology
  • If you are a school leaver, have Murdoch Engineering Technology as your 1st or 2nd preference on TISC
  • Submit a personal statement and a reference. 

Successful candidates must study full-time internally at Murdoch University and be commencing their first year of tertiary study.

This Scholarship requires you to provide the following documents:

  1. Murdoch University Indigenous Engineering Pathway Scholarship Application Form (Please download the form, complete and include in email to scholarships@murdoch.edu.au with additional documentation listed below)
  2. Personal Statement (200-250 words) on how receipt of this Scholarship will help you attain your study and career goals.
  3. Written reference(s) – from your School and / or community leader who can comment on your motivation to study and succeed at University.

Payment Method

Subject to your ongoing acceptance and compliance with the terms and conditions. Payment will be made in the following instalments:

$1,500 in week 7 or 8 of each semester (for up to eight semesters).

All payments are subject to your acceptance and ongoing compliance with the terms and conditions of the award.
