Three digital touchscreens for wayfinding are located at:
- The Southern Lawn, off Discovery Way between Boola Katitjin and IIID

Breezeways and Student Halls facilitate movement north to south across each floor, with Lift access at the Northern and Southern ends of the building.
A feature of the building design, and with a showcase audio art installation, are the central escalators that connect you from the Northern Plaza up to Level 4, and then down to the Welcome Space and Southern Forecourt. Three sets of staircases, to the north, central and south of the building provide pedestrian access between floors, and feature floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular views across the eastern side of campus.
From the Northern Plaza, access the Broadwalk to reach the Library, Café Kadjininy and cross Bush Court to the Student Hub. From the Southern Forecourt, cross Banksia Court to the Guild, Kulbardi Aboriginal Centre, Access and Inclusion and learning spaces in Buildings 490 and 391. Adjacent to the north-east, you will reach the Loneragan Lecture Theatre in Building 235, to walk across to the School of Veterinary Sciences.
Facilities
Boola Katitjin offers a wide variety of facilities for all students, staff and visitors.Murdoch agrees that it is a basic human right to be able to access a
clean, safe and private place to go to the toilet. This is why we have
included a Changing Places bathroom design within Boola Katitjin.
Changing
Places is a toilet facility that is larger than a standard accessible
toilet, that meets the needs of people with high support needs. The
Changing Places bathroom features:
- a height-adjustable adult-sized change table,
- constant-charging ceiling track hoist system,
- centrally located peninsula toilet,
- additional circulation space than standard accessible toilets,
- an automatic door with a clear opening of 950mm, and
- a privacy screen.
All gender, male and female, and accessible bathrooms are located on every level.
To the south of each level, male and female bathrooms can be found, along with an accessible bathroom. These can be found beside the Student Portal, next to Stair 3, at the South / Discovery Way end of Boola Katitjin.
