We're busy preparing an exciting program of events for your Orientation.
To help you feel prepared and confident to start your studies, our Orientation Team will contact you via email within 12 weeks of your commencement date. Please refer to your Orientation emails for a step-by-step guide on getting started and registering for Orientation events.
In the meantime, save the dates below for your Orientation day, then follow the steps to log in and explore Murdoch University's Learning Management System (LMS) - myMurdoch Learning.

- Orientation Day for students commencing in T1 2025 at Murdoch University's South Street Campus.
Semester 1
Bachelor of Nursing Enrolled Nurses
Tuesday, 21 January 2025
- Orientation Day for students enrolled at Murdoch University's Mandurah Campus.
Wednesday, 22 January 2025
- Orientation Day for students enrolled at Murdoch University's South Street Campus.
O-Week
Monday, 17 February to Thursday, 20 February 2025
- Orientation Week (O-Week) for students enrolled in their first year of study at Murdoch University's South Street and Mandurah Campuses.
Friday, 21 February 2025
- O-Day! The on-campus celebration for all new commencing students!
How to prepare for Orientation
- Ensure that you have your Murdoch University username ready - you can find this on your offer letter or Confirmation of Enrolment.
Username: Your unique 8-digit student ID number@student.murdoch.edu.au - Remember your password, or set one up here.
- Set up your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - follow the MFA Setup Instructions here.
When you start at Murdoch University, MFA will be automatically enabled on your account. MFA provides an extra layer of protection against cyber-attacks and identity theft by requiring you to provide another form of authentication to verify your identity before accessing your online account. This authentication is often done using a one-time-sensitive verification code sent to you via an SMS text message or an authentication app.
