Accepting your certificate
As you reach the stage your name will be checked before it is announced. Once announced, walk across the stage to the Chancellor to receive your certificate. The ceremony photographer will be positioned in front of the stage to take a photo of the presentation. Following this you will then continue across the stage where an usher will direct you back to the graduand seating area.
After the ceremony
It’s time to relax and celebrate with your family and friends and have your photos taken. Enjoy complementary light refreshments on Bush Court.
To make your day run more smoothly, arrange in advance where you will meet your guests after the ceremony. Waiting at the exits can cause congestion.
Return your regalia
Hired regalia must be returned to the regalia return desk before you leave.
Studio and Stage Photography
Photographers will be available before and after the ceremony for studio portraits. A range of photo package options are available for you to choose from. You can view and order packages combining individual and family photos on the day or pre-order your package from GFP Events.
Souvenir Stage photos of your certificate presentation will be printed with year of graduation and Murdoch University crest, and are available to view, purchase and take home on the night.
A complimentary download of your certificate presentation photo will also be made available. Use your student ID as your voucher code. A different code will be provided if you have studio photos taken.
Pre-book your ceremony photography at GFP Events.
Graduation keepsakes
A complete range of keepsakes including a video of the ceremony, certificate frames, plaques, flowers and graduation bears will also be available for purchase at the ceremony. However, we do encourage graduands to pre-order at GFP Graduations.
These products are available to you even if you won't be attending the graduation ceremony. Any questions regarding regalia, photography or keepsakes, you can contact GFP Graduations directly on 1300 360 445 or support@gfp.com.au.
