Mitsui Study Tour Scholarship
Mitsui & Co. (Australia) Ltd invites university students to help promote mutual understanding and friendship between Australia and Japan by taking part in the 2024 Mitsui Educational Foundation Study Tour of Japan.
The 21 day, all-expenses paid tour provides a balanced experience of corporate, traditional, and contemporary Japanese culture. Accompanied by a tour coordinator from Mitsui Australia, participants will visit the Australian Embassy in Tokyo, take a tour through the Toyota Motor Company, attend a lecture at Keio University, and spend 3 days living with a Japanese family.
One scholarship is available to a Murdoch University student to join this tour. This will cover all costs including transport, accommodation, and insurance.

Eligibility
Essential:
- Be an Australian Citizen
- Be enrolled full time and internal.
- Be an undergraduate student in your second year of study or above.
- Be an outstanding ambassador for Murdoch University and
Preferred:
- Be academically capable.
- Have a keen interest in Japan. Prior knowledge of Japanese language and culture is NOT required
- Not had an overseas study opportunity in the past

- What you would like to get out of this tour / program.
- How you intend to contribute to the tour / program
- Your ability to be an ambassador for your university and Australia during the tour.
Successful Applicants will be asked to write a 3000-word report about the experience upon their on their return
