About our farm animal services
Regardless of whether you have livestock as pets or are a large-scale commercial farming operation, our Farm Animal team is committed to providing you with the most up-to-date veterinary care and advice.
Our newly renovated barn has the facilities to perform consultations, perform routine and emergent surgeries and hospitalise critically ill patients or those requiring more complex management. We consult on a range of areas from basic health and nutrition, vaccination and parasite control, all the way up to emergency injury, illness and birthing difficulties.
For large-scale beef, dairy cattle and sheep farming operations, we provide advice on the complete management of your stock, including breeding.
We also perform in bull breeding soundness examinations, pregnancy diagnosis in sheep and cattle, artificial breeding of cows and sheep, mastitis surveillance, parasite programme planning, breeder herd health programmes and dairy herd health visits.
Availability
We understand that animals are your livelihood. If you require veterinary assistance at your property, we're available to travel to you during business hours, but currently don't offer an after-hours emergency service for farm animals.
